A WORK OF ART FOR YOUR OUTDOOR "ROOM"  - porcelain tile tops on wrought iron bases.

Sara custom designs and creates high-fired porcelain tiles for each table top. "I like creating a surface that attracts people to it, to enjoy and admire it, or to be amused," she says.

A still life of luscious fruit, a cluster of bright cherries, a vibrant arrangement of lemons you can almost taste? Pour a glass of lemonade and sit awhile. A brilliant touch for patio, deck, screened porch, or that intimate corner of your garden where you relax. These tables become focal points indoors, too, in a living room or entryway.

You select a wrought iron base and discuss your ideas for the tiled top. The bases are available in several styles, from simple to elaborate, and in various sizes.

Sara paints the tile with colored glazes, fires them in at least four kiln firings so they'll withstand weather, and sets them in waterproof mortar in the table's top.
